Best Ever Christmas Loaf
Yield: 16 Servings

Ingredients
0.75 cup raisins, seedless
0.75 cup walnuts, chopped
1 cup prunes, chopped
0.25 cup soft margarine
0.25 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
0.5 cup molasses
0.5 cup apple sauce
2 cups flour
0.5 cup milled roasted flaxseed
3 tbsp whole roasted flaxseed
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp all spice
1 tsp cloves
2 tsp baking powder
1.5 cups skim milk

Directions
Coat a lof pan 9 x5 x3 inches. Preheat oven to 325 F.
Beat margarine with sugar. Add eggs one at a time; add molasses and apple sauce until well blended. Combine flour, flaxseed, spices and add to mixture. Add milk. Fold in nuts, raisins and chopped prunes.
Pour batter in loaf pan. Bake at 325 F for 1 hour or until inserted tooth pick comes out clean. Cool in pan for several minutes before removing from pan.Store in the refrigerator.
