Flax Biscuits

Ingredients

1 cup whole wheat flour
2 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
¼ cup milled roasted flaxseed
3 tbsp butter or margarine
1 cup grated cheese
1 cup cold water

Directions
Combine flour, salt, baking powder and flaxseed. Add margarine or butter and mix with two forks to achieve a crumbled mixture. Add cheese and mix. Add water and mix just until moistened. Drop 1 tbsp of mixture onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 F for 8-10 minutes.
Yield: 12 biscuits
