Cracked Pepper & Roasted Flax Cheeseballs

 
Cracked Pepper & Roasted Flax Cheeseballs
Makes 2 balls (250 ml/ 1 cup each). Serves 50 (serving size is 10 ml or 1 tbsp. per cracker). Roasted Flax seed may be ground in a coffee or pepper grinder. Measure first, then grind.

Ingredients
Prep Time:10 minutes.

8 oz. (250 g) low-fat or light cream cheese
1 tsp. (5 ml) cracked black pepper
1/2 tsp. (2 ml) basil
1 tsp. (5 ml) garlic and herb seasoning mix
2 tbsp. (30 ml) Roasted Flax For Nutrition


Directions
In a medium-sized bowl, mix together cream cheese, pepper, basil and seasoning with a fork, until blended. Divide into two balls.

In a small bowl, put 15 ml (1 tbsp.) Roasted Flax For Nutrition, put in one cheeseball, turning to coat all sides with seeds. Repeat with other ball.

Wrap with plastic warp, refrigerate for 2 hours.
Serve with crackers and vegetables.
